The Golden Button Challenge will take place in Tirley, Gloucestershire on Saturday 15th February 2025. 

​

Location address: Town Street Farm, Tirley, Gloucestershire, GL19 4HG. Click HERE for map. 

It will be signposted from the main road and you will be shown to the car parking field. There is no parking in the yard at Town Street. 

PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE ROAD SIDE - YOU WILL BE TOWED.

Entry into the challenge is £20/per car, £10 if only single occupancy.
Programmes are £5. U16's free.  CASH ONLY!

​

The challenge itself is a cross-country ride styled on the original steeple chase, approximately 3 miles with circa 24 natural obstacles in the Ledbury Hunt Country. The first past the post wins a Real Solid Golden Hunt Button.

​

This event is in a field so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing. 

We will have bars and food stalls offering Tea, Coffee, Bar, Pig roast. This is cash only.

10.15 Parade of all the horses

10.30 Horses taken down to the start 

11.00 The Equestrian Noticeboard Golden Button challenge starts

12.00 BACK AGAIN - Terrier racing! 

13.00 Prize giving

Please note:

• The Equestrian Noticeboard Golden Button challenge starts at 11AM, it is recommended you arrive by 10am at the latest to give you time to get to the viewing point on the course. 

• Dogs MUST be on leads AT ALL TIMES. 

• Spectators, please respect the directions of the officials at all time. Not all of the fences and course are fenced off.
